The Ascott Sathorn is so versatile that its rooms are perfect for the business traveler, romantic couple, group of friends, or family. We chose a two-bedroom apartment as a friend was joining us on our travels. This was the perfect way for the three of us to have our own privacy while still sharing a space.

Our absolute favorite part was the kitchen. With modern appliances such an a conventional oven, cooker hob & hood, electric kettle, electric range cooker, microwave, refrigerator, and toaster, we were able to save money by cooking meals at home. We were also able to whip up a little snack at home instead of heading out to a restaurant. I think all travelers can agree that sometimes, you just want to be able to cook yourself a little snack without having to deal with going out to eat. With the Ascott Sathorn, we had the best of both worlds – an unbeatable location, close to dozens of delectable restaurants and a kitchen at home that we could relax in.

• Green Leaf Spa & Salon: Choose from a wide variety of services and relax in the Thai spa at the Ascott Sathorn, equipped with a sauna, steam room, and hot tub. We pampered ourselves with a 90-minute ‘East meets West’ massage, where the massage therapists combine eastern and western techniques for a delightful spa experience. This was by far one of the top massages we have ever experienced. By incorporating Thai acupressure and western sweeping strokes, we were in complete and utter heaven.

• Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi: Take a dip in the Ascott Sathorn’s outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. It’s a refuge in the middle of the city.

• Gymnasium – The Cascade Club: You know we loved this part! The Ascott Sathorn has a fully equipped gymnasium with weights and cardio equipment so you can stay in shape on your journey. The Ascott has weights, cardio equipment, a platform, fitness classes, spin classes, medicine balls, and TRX so you can stay in shape on your journey.

Aldo’s restaurant is a top rated restaurant on Trip Advisor and it’s no wonder why! With an incredible selection of wines and delicious meats and fish, our dining experience at Aldo’s was absolutely delightful. You have the option of dining inside or outside by the pool. We dined in a romantic outdoor cabana overlooking the picturesque pool and soaring high rises of Bangkok.

Overall, the Ascott Sathorn Bangkok provided a luxurious home away home in the center of the booming city of Bangkok. We would recommend this hotel to business travelers, couples, friends, and families. The service, amenities, and location were unparalleled and the perfect place to spend time in Bangkok.
