FRIDAY

11 am: Check in at the most romantic and luxurious Hong Kong hotel, The Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong (Central Hong Kong) or the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong (on Kowloon). For a full review of our stay at the Mandarin Oriental, click here.

12 pm: Start your holiday off right with a romantic catamaran cruise to nearby Lamma Island. Pop some bubbly and take in the beauty of Hong Kong from the water.

7 pm: Head over to The Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, located on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. Head up to O-Zone, their bar located 118 floors (1,608 ft.) above Hong Kong. Enjoy a romantic evening on top of the world. With your honey in one hand and a drink in the other, take in the bright lights of Hong Kong from the best view in town.

9 pm: Mama San: Head over to Ho Lee Fook, located in Central Hong Kong. This restaurant is “inspired by the “spirit of late-night Chinatown hangouts in 1960’s New York and old school Hong Kong cha chaan tengs.”

11 pm: Grab a drink and enjoy people watching in Lan Kwai Fong. Although touristy, the crazy crowds are a must see on a visit to Hong Kong! Once you’ve had your fill of people watching, head home for a hot tub in your suite at the Mandarin Oriental.

SATURDAY

8 am: Rise and shine! Time to head to Lantau Island to see the magnificent Tian Tan Buddha. Grab your sweetheart and take the train from Hong Kong to Lantau Island and then hop on the gondola to have a bird’s eye view of the magnificent mountains.

10 am: Once you arrive at The Tian Tan Buddha, take your time and walk around the small town. Once you’ve had enough shopping, walk over to the Tian Tan Buddha. Wear your walking shoes as you’ll have a steep climb by stairs up to the giant Buddha. Once at the top, you’ll be rewarded with a sweeping view of Lantau Island. Walk around at the top and explore the Big Buddha as well as the other sculptures surrounding it. Enjoy the energy at the top of the Tian Tan Buddha – it is other worldly!

4 pm: After a long day of walking, treat your feet to an epic couples massage at The Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. We highly recommend the one-hour oriental massage – it’s pure heaven!

7:00 pm: Dress to dazzle at Sevva, the hottest ticket in town for rooftop drinks. Watch the city come alive as the sun sets and the laser light show comes alive across the city. Splurge on a signature cocktail, known as the best in the entire city.

1 pm: Reward yourself from walking the steps of the Tian Tan Buddha with delicious buns from Little Bao. Make sure to order the Szechuan fried chicken bao bun and the ice cream bao buns.

10 pm: Head down to the Mo Bar to enjoy specially made cocktails. Be sure to pop into the Cigar Divan lounge for a taste of the top cigars in the world.

SUNDAY

10 am: Head over to Victoria Peak, the highest point in Hong Kong. Buy your tickets ahead of time at your hotel or online so you can bypass the lines. Take the train to the top and enjoy 360-degree views of Hong Kong and Kowloon. Grab photos kissing at the top, the highest point in Hong Kong!

1 pm: Ferry, train, or Uber over to the Kowloon side for a romantic afternoon at The W Hong Kong. Purchase a day pass for The W Hong Kong’s decadent rooftop experience. Order a bottle of rosé, swim a few laps in the infinity pool, and enjoy the rooftop view of Hong Kong.

5 pm: The Peninsula Hong Kong, located on the Kowloon side, hosts a decadent afternoon tea complete with crumpets and champagne! Enjoy white glove service at this uber romantic Hong Kong hotel. The experience is well worth the splurge!
