Where to Stay
Courtyard by Marriott Buena Park: Located in the heart of Buena Park, it’s only steps from all of the action and adventure that this amazing city has to offer. This newly renovated hotel has an outdoor fire pit, a fitness room, and outdoor pool. The rooms are spacious and offer a bedroom, a lounge area, and a small kitchenette.
Where to Eat
There is no shortage of divine dining options around the city of Buena Park.
New Moon: Our visit to New Moon was one of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve ever visited. The restaurant has been in the family for over three generations and they’ve perfected the art of Chinese classics with a modern twist. We highly recommend the Hunan crispy shrimp, General Tsao’s Chicken, and Bok Choy.
Il Palco: Il Palco is known as the best Italian food in Buena Park and they did not disappoint. We loved indulging in Italian cocktails such as the Campari Spritz and Negroni while noshing on fresh burrata and prosciutto. We chose to sit outside at the bar and enjoy the beautiful Buena park weather.
Porto’s Bakery & Cafe: Porto’s Bakery & Cafe was voted the #1 Restaurant in the Country by Yelp in 2016 so you know it’s good. This Cuban Bakery has a coffee bar, perfect pastries, and sumptuous sandwiches. We highly recommend their signature Cuban Sandwich – the ham and cheese are cooked to absolute perfection! There are four locations of Porto’s, but only one location in Orange County.

Basilur Tea: While Basilur Tea may be known for its world-renowned tea and coffee, their soufflé pancakes take the cake. Soft and fluffy, these pancakes are absolutely decadent. We highly recommend having your pancakes topped with whipped cream, maple syrup, and fruit…because that last part makes it healthy, right? 🙂
Rock & Brews: This restaurant, created by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, is always a rocking good time. The restaurant has fantastic barbeque, hamburgers, and wings, while also offering healthy options. The main reason to visit Rock & Brews is for its beers! It’s a beer lovers dream with over 60 craft beers from around the world.
Cheers to a good time at Rock & Brews
Where to Adventure
Ralph B Clark Park: With over 104 acres, Ralph B Clark Park is the perfect place to picnic, hike, bike, and adventure in Buena Park CA. There is also fishing in the fully stocked lake and there are tennis courts, basketball courts, and volleyball courts.
Knott’s Berry Farm: Knott’s Berry Farm has always been one of our favorite places to adventure in California. The heart and soul of Buena Park CA, Knott’s Berry Farm is “California’s Best Theme Park.” It has dozens of rides, including some epic rollercoasters like the Ghost Rider, Xcelerator, and Silver Bullet. There are also plenty of shows, attractions, and games for every age!
Knott’s Scary Farm: Lots of theme parks transform themselves into a spooky Halloween-themed park, but no one else does it like Knott’s Scary Farm. Knott’s Berry Farm transforms into Knott’s Scary Farm during the nighttime for ~6 weeks in Halloween season. This “scary farm” has mazes, scare zones, experiences, and all of the rides that you love at Knott’s Berry Farm. We went here for Scott’s 30th birthday years back and we love returning during the Halloween season every year. Knott’s goes all out with Scary Farm and there is nothing ordinary about this terrifyingly fun experience.
